For many student athletes, mountain biking is a new sport. Even the experienced riders can learn something new at a NICA rider camp, which emphasizes proper skill, technique and a healthy approach to riding and racing. Certified coaches and assistants provide spot-on training for students of all skill levels, and in several cases a girl’s-only camp is held to encourage our future women to let their natural abilities flow.
The Idaho League is excited for our first Clinic offering of the 2015 season. We’ve partnered with Cycle Right MTB Clinics to offer this beginner skills clinic. The Idaho League is looking for additional providers across the state, stay tuned for updates.

Be prepared to spend a fun 3 hours on your bike (have food and water) in a mix of classroom style instruction, skills demonstration by instructors, drill practicing and trail riding. We’ll also do a mock-up of the Idaho H.S. League category staging and start/finish procedure. By the end of the clinic, attendees will have a tool bag full of skills for riding and racing to help them feel confident and have fun on the trails and with their teammates!
